Another one, again from photo ref. I didn't exaggerate her chest, it -is- this huge. Approx 2 hours.Things learned: Instead of blocking the shadows and shades with solid brushes, going slower with low opacity brushes seemed to give a nicer shadow transition. Ill will have to do more experiments.

Just got my balrog at a lower-than-retail price. I'm a very fussy buyer, figures must have the X-factor the first time I lay my eyes on it. Frankly I was torn between this and sideshow weta's balrog, the latter definitely has quality hands down but we just do not hav tat chemistry. And its triple in price. Another take on "Evolution" This time is a chicken/ abominable snowman caught on film, encased in a hunk of ice.This time I tried painting the entire piece with a (default)grunge brush instead, and doubled the canvas resolution since the older pieces gave me problems when i zoomed too far in for details, 2 hours, photoshop.
