Ardous Journey

Woah this space is as dead as my DA profile...

Just to spice things up abit, this is a WIP of the piece I'm working on. Nope it's not relevant to the 'Explosion' theme. Worked on several pieces previously but scrapped them all cuz I dun like em. This is one that I quite like.

It's my take on Journey to the West. Yeah looks like one of those Buddhist characters I've drawn. And the dragon looks like Seadramon from Digimon.

1 year anniversary

Has it been a year already? When we first started we're not even sure if we could last beyond a month, its hard to get people to draw and post their stuff afterall. But today we are 1 year old with almost 100 posts, thats almost one post every three days, pretty good for a blog not expected to last more then a couple months.

Happy birthday artfiends. Keep drawing :D

damn bored at work so did this model out.. used the ink and paint material in max, taught by my fren alex :D

Re-generation : Life with plushy doll

Here is a wacky idea of a symbiotic human and plushy doll relationship. The doll is an extension of the girl's personality and is also her true source of wisdom. Together, they make a formidable pair in vanquishing unhappiness.

Her costume was worked out on thumbnail sketches. The only thing lacking was plannning my perspective. And I spent quite something time adjusting the hand even if the character was exaggerated.

I had this idea for week, but was to busy to do it, when I did, it was great fun and I couldn't stop.

CG-3D Singapore newer, better, faster!

The latest version of the CG-3D forum is up and bettar then before! Everyone on the old forums will have to re-register unfortunately.

WIP - Regeneration

Erm... This is actually a very good topic. The first image that come to my mind is the water tube where vegeta n goku heal n restore in. (Dunno wat i'm talking about? Go read DBZ) That's why i set my sight in this direction.

Still a WIP, but i dunno whether i'll finish it, depends on my mood hehe. If u look at my sketchbook, u will see mostly unfinished works.

Still plenty to work on this piece. The thing behind the gal is still very vague, the connectors r still not fully drawn... and i'm still fighting the idea whether to give her some clothings. Saw some proportion mistake after i scanned, will change that. Meantime, i would like to see wat u guys come out with :)

There's definitely a theory/story behind the number 7, stay tune.

P.S. I hate drawing feet.
